ExploreLearning's online initial training course is designed to prepare teachers to use Gizmos immediately in their classrooms. An experienced ExploreLearning trainer leads you through an online training experience that includes demonstration, guided instruction, and hands-on work with ExploreLearning.com and Gizmos.

Format

Our three-week facilitated, online training course is a virtual alternative to onsite training. The total time commitment for participants is typically 8-12 hours spread over the three-week duration of the course.

The course begins with participants learning the major features and functions of the ExploreLearning website with a focus on the Teacher Home Page. Next, teachers learn how to design differentiated lessons incorporating Gizmos and ExploreLearning.com's assessment tools. The teachers' new skills are then integrated into their classroom practice and experiences are shared via online discussion forums and weekly web conferences.
