3.2: Demonstrate that the properties of materials can change, but not all materials respond in the same way to the same action. Observe and explain that when objects gain heat, evaporation and melting can occur; and that when objects lose heat, condensation and freezing can occur.

Observe that the sun appears in different locations in the sky during the day. Observe that the shape of the moon appears a little different each day, but looks the same again about every four weeks.
