Typical Gizmo Controls and Functions
While the Gizmo Library is quite diverse in content, ranging from elementary math to advanced physics, the tools that let you interact with a Gizmo are of a much more uniform nature. Once you are familiar with these basic controls and functions, you can use most Gizmos almost immediately without wondering "What does this do?"
Sliders
Sliders allow you to modify a Gizmo quickly without having to type anything. Often they allow you to see the effect of change immediately.
To use a slider, use your mouse to position the cursor over the slider, "grab" the slider by clicking the left mouse button, and hold down the button as you move back and forth. For horizontal sliders like those shown below, you can also control the value by typing a number in the text field to the right and then pressing Enter.

Sliders are horizontal most of the time, but sometimes they are vertical. Sometimes we embed the slider in a graphic to make it more clear what the slider controls
Draggable Points
Many of our graphing Gizmos have points you can drag to change the equation being graphed. Draggable points have a 3D look to them while "flat" disks are used to label a point of interest and cannot be moved. In the image below the circled point is draggable and the others are not.
