Help Desk Technician/Jr. System Administrator - Contract to Hire

ExploreLearning is currently looking for a Help Desk Technician/ Jr. System Administrator to join our team in Charlottesville. Primarily to support the ExploreLearning associates and their technology tools in a mixed Windows/Macintosh environment. Typical helpdesk tasks include resetting passwords, updating and installing software, diagnosing and repairing machine issues, etc. In addition to everyday associate support, this position will support office infrastructure (phone system, network support, performing backups, etc.). Looking for a friendly, dedicated, results driven individual.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Support desktop software and hardware
  • Phone system support
  • Coordination with Dallas helpdesk staff
Additional Job Functions:
  • Networking support
  • Data backup administration
Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Associates degree or equivalent experience
  • Some knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory
  • 1-3 years of experience working with computers
Preferred Skills and Abilities:
  • Operate day-to-day helpdesk tasks

Account Executive - Field (IL/MN/WI/IN)

To achieve assigned sales goals for math and science curriculum products (Gizmos/Reflex) within an assigned territory (IL/MN/WI/IN). Primary responsibilities include: new account development (may necessitate large group presentations, requiring the coordination of various groups of people, product knowledge, public speaking skills, and the use of various pieces of equipment for giving demonstrations), service and growth of existing customers: Various reports to include sales forecasting, sales reports, gap analyses and strategic plans.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Sell online math and science curriculum products to achieve revenue targets
  • Develop strategy to independently manage all business, new and renewals, for a specific geographic territory (IL/MN/WI/IN)
  • Travel to customer accounts and/or trade conferences when requested
Additional Job Functions:
  • Develop and maintain a positive business relationship with management, inside sales, and related Cambium Learning department staff
Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Must have Bachelor Degree or Higher
  • Minimum three years selling to the K-12 Education Market
  • Negotiation and persuasion skills

Project Manager / Business Analyst - Contractor

ExploreLearning is in need of a Project Manager / Business Analyst (PM/BA) to help with a SalesForce.com project initiative. ExploreLearning is located on the historical downtown mall in Charlottesville, Virginia. This is an on-site 40 hours per week contract position, 6-12 month duration.

The contractor will be gathering user requirements and manage the project in an agile scrum environment. The contractor will need to be able to create a product backlog and keep it up to date; conduct daily standup meetings; and use a two week sprint cycle to provide status updates to project stakeholders.

Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Experience with Scrum methodology (ScrumMaster or Product owner certification preferred)
  • Business analyst experience (exposure to user stories, or similar method preferred)
  • SalesForce.com experience

Required Skills and Abilities:
  • 3 + years of SalesForce.com administrative experience in the following areas:
    • Managing users, data, and security
    • Maintaining and customizing Sales Cloud and Service Cloud applications
    • Building reports, dashboards, and workflow
  • Force.com Administrator certification is preferred
